Aaron Paul and Emily Ratajkowski have signed on to star in Welcome Home, a thriller that George Ratliff will direct for Voltage Pictures.
The story centers on a couple (Paul and Ratajkowski) who spends a weekend at a vacation rental home in the Italian countryside in an attempt to repair their relationship, but soon become victims of the homeowner’s sinister plans.
David Levinson wrote the script. Allan Mandelbaum and Tim and Trevor White are producing the feature project, which will shoot in Tuscany starting in late May. Josh Bachove will co-produce.
Voltages Pictures will launch sales of the title at Cannes.
Paul, perhaps best known for starring on AMC’s Breaking Bad, now stars on Hulu series The Path and appeared with Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johnson in the 2016 action Comedy Central Intelligence.
Ratajkowski was most recently seen in Joe Swanberg’s anthology series Easy for Netflix. Her upcoming films include the love story Cruise, written and directed by Robert Siegel (The Wrestler), Anthony Byrne’s psychological thriller In Darkness with Natalie Dormer and the thriller-romance Lying & Stealing opposite Theo James.
Paul is repped by UTA. Ratajkowski is repped by UTA, Untitled Entertainment and Bloom Hergott.
