It was a blink-and-you’ll-miss it announcement: a picture of Emily Ratajkowski and a mystery man on her Instagram Stories, embracing and showing off their rings, with the caption “I got married today.” The internet was flooded well wishes, and also a lot of “wait.. what?”
But no, this wasn’t any kind of practical joke or movie scene. A rep for Ratajkowski confirmed to Vogue that she did indeed get married.
Ratajkowski followed up her Stories with a photo post, captioning it “ny” with a pair of diamond ring emojis. The man in question is Sebastian Bear-McClard, an actor slash producer best known for his work on the critically acclaimed Good Time, starring Robert Pattinson. Ratajkowski and Bear-McClard have been spotted canoodling over the last couple months, but it’s unknown how long they’ve been together.
The actress looked the part of the untraditional bride, wearing an mustard-colored suit and a large black hat with a veil. In one photo in the series, she poses with her pug. Josh Ostrovsky (aka The Fat Jew) and Josh Safdie, director of Good Time, were also present.
Congratulations to the happy couple!
